Mr. Staadecker is a Managing Director at HPS Investment Partners and a Co-Portfolio Manager of the Asset Value Funds. He also serves on the board of directors for PEAC Solutions, a global leasing platform, and several other AVF/AVP portfolio companies. Prior to joining HPS in 2013, Mr. Staadecker was a Managing Director and Co-Head of the European Special Situations Credit Opportunities business at Fortress Investment Group, where he was responsible for its European illiquid credit effort that included portfolio acquisitions and senior/ subordinated debt financings. Mr. Staadecker’s portfolio investment activities included residential mortgages, SME and consumer NPLs, and a variety of transportation assets, as well as establishing special servicers for such assets in various jurisdictions. Prior to joining Fortress, Mr. Staadecker was in the Financial Sponsors Group at Deutsche Bank, where he was responsible for underwriting corporate financings that include bank debt, high-yield bonds and mezzanine debt. Mr. Staadecker holds a BA in Philosophy from Ohio State University and an MBA with a concentration in Finance and Accounting from Case Western University.
